On the desk today, at the Breakaway Creative studio, is author Grant Friedman's book Retro Style Graphics, another pick up from the Border's going out of business sale at the Biltmore on Camelback Road.
A great collection of design elements from the 1950's, 1960's, 1970's, and 1980's including great seamles patterns, color palettes, textures, and vector graphics. I can hardly wait to get a a retro logo project. The book also contains some great Photshop brushes and texture patters for Illustrator as well.
The only downside to the book if there really is one that the CD did not contain any of the great fonts and typefaces that were featured in the font section of the book. All in a ll a great resource for designers who want to as the author puts it "Produce high quality graphics ina retro style."
